Sarah es una joven francófona que vive en una ciudad donde la mayor parte de la población es hispanohablante igual que su marido. Después de disturbios raciales, el gobierno decide dividir la ciudad en tres zonas y delimitarlas por un muro. Sarah vive en la zona A y se encuentra así separada de su hermano que vive en la zona C.

The day of the Virgin
Sarah, French-speaker,  lives in a city where the majority of the inhabitants are Spanish-speakers. Due to ethnic riots, the government has decided to divide the city into three and to limit them by a wall. Married with a Spanish-speaker, Sarah lives in Zone A and is thus separated from her brother who lives in Zone C.
