La vereda de enfrente / Across the Street ((orge Cedrón, Argentina 1963, 15’)
Un muchacho acompaña a otro a la Isla Maciel para iniciarse con una prostituta. El cruce del Riachuelo y la precariedad del lugar muestran un mundo en apariencia ajeno a la gran capital. Este primer corto anticipa personajes de un mundo que reaparecen en sus futuros trabajos.
A young boy goes with another to Maciel island to be initiated with a prostitute. Crossing the Riachuelo and the the precariousness of the site show a world far-off in appearance to the great capital. This first short anticipates characters in a world that reapper in future works.
El otro oficio / Other trade ( Jorge Cedrón , Argentina 1967, 30´)
En su búsqueda de trabajo un grupo de obreros se enfrenta a frustraciones ya conocidas. Cedrón plantea sus conflictos e intenta comprender sus causas. Como en todos sus películas posa su mirada en aspectos de la realidad poco observados.
In their search for work a crowd of workingmen face well known frustrations. Cedrón raises their conflicts and tries to understand their causes. As in all his films, he places his isight on some unobserved aspects of reality.
Operación masacre / Slaughter Operation ( Jorge Cedrón 1972, 100’)
Operación masacre, adaptación del libro homónimo de Rodolfo Walsh, narra los fusilamientos de José León Suárez cometidos, en 1956, por el gobierno de facto autodenominado Revolución Libertadora. Realizado y exhibido en la clandestinidad durante la dictadura del General Lanussse.
Slaughter Operation, an adaptation of the book by Rodolfo Walsh, narrates the shooting of Jose León Suárez committed in 1956 by the government in effect auto called Liberating Revolution. Released and screened in hiding during the dictatorship of General Lanussse.
Resistir / Resistance (Jorge Cedrón, France 1978,71’)
Entrevista a Mario Firmenich, dirigente de la Organización Montoneros, durante su exilio europeo, en la que expresa su posición sobre ciertos hechos de la historia argentina del siglo XX y testimonia las decisiones tácticas de esa Organización en ese momento histórico.
Interview to Mario Firmenich, leader of the Montoneros Organization, during his european exile, in which he expresses his position about certain XX century topics of argentine history and testimonials of tactical decisions of this Organization in that historical moment.

Gotán (Jorge Cedrón, Francia 1979, 52’)
En 1979, durante su exilio, Cedrón filma Gotán, un collage musical en el que la historia del tango y sus raíces se entretejen con la historia política argentina. Con la música del Cuarteto Cedrón, esta película nunca se vio públicamente en Argentina.
In 1979, during his exile, Cedrón flms Gotán , a musical collage in which the history of tango and its roots are intertwined with Argentina’s political history. With music of the Cedrón Quartet , this film was never released for the public in Argentina.
